Howard Reeves has been at Northwestern for six years. His research is centered on the application of mathematical and numerical models to describe groundwater flow and the fate and transport of contaminants in the environment. Field and laboratory investigations on groundwater flow, soil characteristics, and remedial techniques provide essential data and observations to his research projects. His work with the Institute is examining bioremediation as a cost-effective option for remediation of contaminated soils encountered in transportation activities.
